Based on the representation that can be seen in the  chapel consecrated to him in Bohemia's Metropolitan Church at the Royal Castle in Prague, where his body is resting. They are painted in the same forms and colours, in the same dress and postures, and reproduced almost faithfully. Brief summaries are appended to the pictures to make it their meaning clear and to explain what each picture contains represents.

Matthias Hutsky de Krivoklat, Pragae 1585, doprovázená anglickým překladem Martina Hellera. Originál je uložen v Rakouské národní knihovně pod signaturou Cod. Ser. n. 2633. Odborný uměleckovědný a literárněvědný komentář napsali Karel Stejskal a Eduard Petrů. Původní pevná vazba s přebalem, nestránkováno - asi 30 listů, 16 x 23,5 cm; desky trochu odřené a u dolního kraje trochu natržené, kniha uvnitř zcela nepoškozená. * This book contains facsimiles of miniature copies of twenty-four legendary scenes from the life of Wenceslas, painted on the walls of the chapel in Prague's famous cathedral of St Vitus. There are the work of the painter Matthias Hutský of Křivoklat, who presented them in 1585. Translated into English by Martin Heller, art historical and literary commentaries by Karel Stejskal and Eduard Petrů. Original hardcover with dust jacket, without pagination (about 60 pp), 8°; dust jacket slightly scraped and slightly torn, otherwise very good condition.
